Huotian Zhang

Postdoctoral Researcher, Institute of Physics and Astronomy, University of Potsdamhuotian.zhang@uni-potsdam.de

I am a device physicist working on organic optoelectronics. My expertise lies in combining ultrafast and steady-state spectroscopy with multiscale device modelling to explain quantitatively where the efficiency of organic solar cells originates and where its limits lie; this led to establishing and overcoming the fill-factor limit of organic solar cells (Nature Photonics, 2026). I have co-authored 63 peer-reviewed publications (7,942 citations; h-index 30).
